Meet Molly Biter: molly@admiraltravel.com
Travel Designer

A little background:
I am a native Sarasotan and I have had the great fortune of being raised in the hospitality industry with several prominent family owned and operated businesses. I went to Johnson and Wales University in Miami then dove right into managing high-end restaurants for 10 years. My creative side led me to developing my own company, Go To Girl, aiding small businesses with reinforcement services, event planning, and marketing. I’ve always been very involved in the community volunteering on committees, chairing events, Leadership Sarasota, and love helping the schools my children attend. Additionally, I directed an initiative for Gulf Coast Community Foundation connecting young entrepreneurs to local experts. I’m also a level 1 sommelier and enjoy fine wine and fabulous meals! I am blessed to have 3 beautiful, healthy kids aged 5, 5, and 2 and am lucky to have lots of family nearby… because it takes a village! My husband is a Test Pilot in the Navy and a Commercial Pilot with Delta Airlines. Travel is second nature to us and we have mastered the art of last minute traveling… often with kids in tow. We have gone on several spur of the moment trips all over Europe and the US often for 24 hours for “date nights” utilizing standby travel. Those that know me well call me “Molly Poppins” because I am always prepared for anything!

What are your key accomplishments in the field/on the job?
I love living vicariously through our clients as they experience dream vacations. I have personally visited some of the locations, which makes it extra special for me, as I am able to reflect on my experiences and make sure they aren’t missing anything. Since I know most of our local travelers personally, I have an advantage of them trusting my advice and they know I will do everything I can to make things magical.

Why did you choose to work in this industry?
It was serendipitous! I I love traveling, creating memories, and I enjoy hearing about people falling in love with other parts of the world. The stars aligned and I found my calling!

What’s your approach to customer service?
I believe that you should always treat others the way you expect to be treated. I am a great listener and compassionate when navigating challenges.

What would your pet say about you if we asked for a reference?
Our 15 year old shiba inu, Raja, would say that I am caring and loyal. She also would likely compliment my taste in music as we always leave good tunes on for her before we go somewhere… usually The Beatles!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Don’t be afraid to try new things! However, I do have a disclaimer…. I struggle with this when it comes to certain food groups. Yet, when it relates to life experiences, I’m all about it. I’ve even tried sky diving!

Describe yourself using only film titles.
Mary Poppins
The Sweetest Thing
The Social Network
Parenthood

What is your favorite/most recommended travel movie/documentary or book?
Hands down… The Chef’s Table on Netflix. The cinematography is incredible and it shows innovative chefs from around the world featuring a variety of culinary delights. It makes you want to travel to these destinations because it not only illustrates the chef’s talents but also explores the regions in such a beautiful way.

Describe the most incredible view you’ve ever seen.
The view from our hotel room in Amalfi on our Honeymoon. The Mediterranean Sea looked like someone poured tons of Prosecco into it, it was so sparkly! The vanity mirror in the bathroom reflected the town and the coast so when I was doing my makeup, I was so distracted by the view that I got eyeliner all over my face!

What is your favorite travel memory?
For my 30th birthday, we went to South Africa with family and a Connoisseur Club group. Seeing Victoria Falls, experiencing sunrise and sunset safaris, and a surprise visit from a baboon in our bathroom were just a few pieces of the unforgettable trip. Wherever we travel, we easily make friends with staff, locals, or other tourists. So, my favorite part of any traveling is the people we continue to keep in touch with because it keeps the memories alive.

Finally, what is your ultimate dream/bucket list adventure?
I’d really like to go to Giraffe Manor at some point! Switzerland and Australia are also on my to-do list. I’m just excited to see any part of the world and experience as much as possible with our kids.
