Wake up early to visit the Valley of the Queens, the final resting place of many of Egypt’s most powerful queens, including Queen Nefertari. Continue to Deir el-Medina, the village where the artisans who built the Valley of the Kings lived. Visit the tombs of the village’s inhabitants and learn about their lives. Head to Habu, the mortuary temple of Ramses III. Marvel at the temple’s reliefs, which depict scenes of Ramses’ military victories. Visit the Colossi of Memnon, two giant statues of Amenhotep III.

Sail to Esna, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch onboard your ship. Cross the Esna Lock, a unique hydraulic system that allows ships to navigate the Nile River. March 27, 2025 – Awaken up to the sound of the wind in the sails and the water lapping against the hull of your ship. After breakfast, disembark at Edfu and visit the Temple of Edfu, a magnificent Ptolemaic temple dedicated to the god Horus. Wander through the temple’s colonnades and chambers, admiring the intricate carvings and reliefs that depict scenes from Horus’s life. In the afternoon, you will sail to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the twin temples of Kom Ombo. One temple is dedicated to Horus and Sobek, the crocodile god, and the other temple is dedicated to Horus and Hathor, the cow goddess. You will learn about the history and mythology of these ancient gods and goddesses. After tea in the club lounge, enjoy dinner onboard your ship, as the sun sets over the Nile River.

March 28, 2025 – As the sun rises over the Nile River, enjoy a delicious breakfast on board your boat. The morning air is cool and refreshing, and the scenery is simply breathtaking. As you sail, take in the sights of the lush riverbanks and the towering desert cliffs. Once you arrive in Aswan, visit the Aswan High Dam, one of the largest dams in the world. Learn about how this engineering marvel was built and how it has transformed the lives of Egyptians.

Next, visit Philae Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site awaits. This ancient temple was dedicated to the goddess Isis and was relocated to its current location on Agilkia Island after the construction of the Aswan High Dam. After your visit to Philae Temple, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan. Sample some of the city’s famous cuisine, such as ful medames (a fava bean stew) or kushari (a lentil and rice dish). In the afternoon, visit the Nubian Museum to learn about the history and culture of the Nubian people. This fascinating museum houses a collection of artifacts that tell the story of this ancient civilization.
