Welcome to Northern Italy: an extraordinary area where the highest mountains meet lakes, where culinary traditions are incredibly varied and historical cities are combined with the most extraordinary natural landscapes.
On the last part of your trip, arrive on the Ritten’s plateau for a few spa and relaxing days in one of the most amazing hotels in the area.
Hiking, food, history: there will be a little bit of everything to make this vacation truly special.

DAY 1 – Welcome to the Dolomites

Land in Venice, meet your private transfer and head to the mountains. Relax in your van and enjoy the view from your windows as you go through Veneto and Trentino regions to ultimately arrive in South Tyrol. Enter to the Dolomites, the “Rock Cathedrals” of the Italian Alps: an enclosed area of stunning sceneries and breathtaking landscapes and, deservedly, UNESCO World Heritage since 2009.

Your first stop will be at the lovely Romantik Hotel Turm situated in Fie allo Sciliar. This lovely boutique hotel, with its romantic wellness area and remarkable dining offer, is located in an historical building that also owns a 13th century tower.

Check in and relax.

DAY 2 – Hiking up to the Seiser Alm

After an energetic breakfast, check out and leave your bags to the hotel. Pack only the minimum for the next three nights!

Hop on your private transfer and head to Siusi, where you will meet the alpine guide that will be accompanying you during the hut-to-hut experience. Hop on the cable car and ascend to the Seiser Alm (5600 ft), Europe’s largest high-altitude meadow and a Dolomitic gem: wonderful views and endless green pastures with countless chalets scattered all around. A great place to be whatever the season, whatever the weather and whatever the time of day!

Start your hiking journey by heading to Rifugio Bolzano (8100 ft) and enjoy a well deserved lunch. Most of the difference in height has already been done, keep walking on the Sciliar plateau, above the Seiser Alm and with an incredible view.

Arrive at Tierser Alm Hütte (8050 ft) and spend the next two nights in this lovely mountain hut opened more than 50 years ago and still owned by the very same family.

DAY 3 – Lake Antermoia

We suggest waking up very early and, in a short hike, reach the nearby Rosszähne to admire the most incredible and unforgettable sunrise.

Get back to the hut for breakfast and then get ready for an adventurous and engaging itinerary that will take you to the other side of the Catinaccio group and to Lake Antermoia, dramatically nestled in between the mountains.

Stop for lunch at Rifugio Antermoia (8240 ft): built in 1911, the hut was abandoned during WWI and then brought back to life in 1926 by a woman of which we know very little. The cuisine here is absolutely amazing, very simple but faithful to the Tyrolean tradition: you can’t miss a plate of eggs, potatoes and speck (a smoked ham) or a bowl of warm gulasch suppe to warm you up.

Return to Tierser Alm Hütte in the late afternoon and relax before dinner.

DAY 4 – Sassopiatto

After an energetic breakfast, get ready for the next hike: descend in the bucolic Duron Valley and then up again on the other side. You’re now in the very heart of the Dolomites and the height and magnificence of each peak will certainly make an impression on you!

Reach the Plattkofelhütte (7590 ft): a lovely alpine hut that offers a warm and very familiar hospitality.

One of the most peculiar features of these mountains is the incredible color they get in the evening: the Enrosadira, or Alpenglow, is an optical phenomenon that, at the end of sunny days, gives the Dolomites an incredible color palette, from pink to orange to purple.

Enjoy the show from one of the sunniest terraces in the Dolomites!

DAY 5 – A Special Lunch

One last effort to head back to the Seiser Alm once: along with your guide reach a special location where our private chef will be waiting for you and for an exclusive lunch in nature.

Sit down, relax and get blown away by the beauty all around.

In the afternoon, meet your transfer who has already picked up your luggage from Hotel Turm and head to a few days of full relaxation!

Arrive on the Ritten Plateau, a sun-kissed area located above Bolzano. Check in at ADLER Lodge Ritten, an extraordinary property surrounded by woods and silence: a hideaway where you can relax just admiring nature and the beautiful little lake nestled in the garden. The hotel offers cozy and welcoming rooms, a wellness area with wonderful views over the iconic Scillar massif and an extraordinary culinary experience.

Check in and relax.

DAY 6 – Full Relax

Enjoy a full day of relaxing, recharging after the hiking!

DAY 7 – Goodbye!

Check out and meet your transfer to Lake Garda.
