Day 1 – Arrival into Auckland, New Zealand

Please turn left as you enter the Arrivals Hall and make your way to the ‘Pre Booked Transport’ area, where you will meet your local ATI Representative  You will be greeted & transferred by private vehicles to your accommodation, the brand-new Park Hyatt Auckland (approximately a 40-minute journey).

Afternoon at leisure. You may like to enjoy the following optional activities:

  • Britomart
  • Auckland Art Gallery

Enjoy Cocktails and a Welcome Dinner at Onemata at The Park Hyatt this evening. Indulge at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Onemata. Using only the finest local produce. Menu selections driven by the farmer, fisherman and seasonal ingredients.  *payable direct

Waiheke Island Vineyards

Day 2 – Waiheke Island Experience including lunch

The tour will commence with a drive along the scenic northern route, taking in spectacular views of the Hauraki Gulf and beyond to the Coromandel Peninsula.

Visit Kennedy Point Vineyard where they produce fully certified organic Syrah, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Rosé wines. Here you will also taste estate–grown olive oil and New Zealand avocado oil.  The winery decks are tucked among their 300-year-old Pohutukawa trees overlooking Waiheke Island’s
Kennedy Bay and are the perfect setting to sample a range of fine wines.

Enjoy some local Te Matuku Bay Oysters and a small cheese board to sample with your wines.

Next enjoy wine tasting at Casita Miro partnered with house made food tastings. Casita Miro provides a Mediterranean tapas menu with extensive sea and vineyard views from their beautiful art deco style pavilion.  Bond Estate primarily grows Syrah and Bordeaux varietals, along with beautiful Pinot Gris and a small amount  of Viognier, which is used for blending with their Syrah.

Visit Rangihoua Estate where the first olive oil in the North Island was produced. Rangihoua’s award-winning olive oils have won many accolades since the first pressings. Here you will learn how the oil is produced and taste a range of different oils, including the peppery Greek-style Koreneiki, the Spanish-style Picual, or the Tuscan-style Frantoio, as well as island blends.

To conclude the day enjoy Lunch at Tantalus Estate. This newly renovated winery within the vines offers a range of beautifully designed spaces including spacious botanical courtyards, comfortable lounge areas, a light and expansive tasting room and the elegant restaurant. The seasonal menu offers refined, tantalizing dishes with bold flavors designed to complement the wine and beer made here.

Day 3 – Journey to Taupo

Private vehicle transfer to Auckland Airport Domestic Terminal, followed by a flight from Auckland to Taupo.  Upon arrival, transfer to Huka Lodge for an afternoon at leisure to relax and settle into your beautiful new surroundings

Day 4 Exclusive Marae and Forest Encounter included Hangi Lunch

Visit a local Marae (Maori Meeting House) where you will experience a Powhiri (Maori welcome). After the welcome ceremony you will assist in preparing the hangi (traditional meal cooked underground). This involves wrapping and preparing the meat and vegetables as needed, and assisting in laying the food in prepared baskets to be lowered into the ground. This is a fun way to get to know the community of this small village, and learn the essence behind the ‘hangi’.

Next, transfer to the Redwood Forest. Rotorua has some of the best mountain biking on this planet, and your exciting excursion begins in the Whakarewarewa Redwood Forest, Rotorua’s premiere venue!

Surrounded by forest you have over 100kms of purpose-built single track on our doorstep, beautiful lakes to cycle to and spectacular rides through thermal areas. Your ride today is very much catered to suit your abilities and preferences, and after a short warm-up, you choose from the many options to suit your skill and fitness level, providing a fantastic day out. Hiking Trails also available through the forest for those who prefer. *Please wear comfortable clothing, gloves are optional and sports shoes.

If time allows, enjoy a private guided tour of the Geothermal Areas of Rotorua. You will walk around the geothermal parks in Rotorua and experience boiling mud, hot springs and huge volcanic craters, that makes Rotorua famous as New Zealand’s “thermal city”.

Day 6Journey to Queenstown! Today you will be met at your accommodation by your private guides and vehicles for the transfer to the Taupo Airport for your flight to Queenstown.

Upon arrival into Queenstown, transfer to Willow’s Jetty on your exclusive jet boat to downtown Queenstown.  A great way to arrive in the Adventure Capital of the World!

Day 7Milford Sound Helicopter Excursion incl. Glacier Landing and Picnic Lunch

You will see mountains gliding by as your helicopter winds its way through the Southern Alps on an unforgettable flight to Milford Sound. This breathtaking flight takes you over secluded alpine lakes, lush rainforest, through deep bush-fringed valleys and past rugged mountain peaks. Land and stroll on a deserted beach to absorb the natural beauty of Fiordland.

Your flight then sweeps the full length of the fiord until you reach the rugged West Coast offering a unique opportunity where you may see wildlife in their natural colonies. Experience a glacier landing before touching down at one of the secret wilderness sites for a picnic lunch! *Please dress warmly and wear comfortable walking shoes.
