February 2, 2024 – Devil’s Island, French Guinea

Contrary Devil’s Island. Explore the remote beauty of French Guinea, where European language, culture, and cuisine dominate South American tropics. Bravely cross the notorious shark-dense and turbulent waters to explore a tropical island steeped in dark history. Wander through gently swaying palm trees, oversized butterflies, and bougainvillea-in total contrast to the island’s infamous penal colony past. Be sure to catch the return boat back- they say no one ever managed to escape.

February 5, 2024 – Fortaleza, Brazil

Hot fun in Fortaleza. Two words define the capital of the Ceará State: sun and party. In the “City of light,” prevalent sunny skies reign over 25 kilometers of glistening white beaches punctuated with palm trees, lagoons, dunes, and stunning red cliffs. For two centuries, Fortaleza was a sleepy fishing village preserved in its candy-coloured cultural center. Now, it is a vital port brimming with a creative spirit for fashion, art, and imaginative thinking. Groove to a resort vibe fuelled by the national cocktail, cachaca, and the endemic e-music, farro, for the perfect combination of sun, sand, and sea.

February 8 to February 9, 2024 – Salvador de Bahai, Brazil

African slaves were brought here to build into the most opulent cities of the new world. Colonial Pelourinho, a UNESCO heritage site, commemorates this history. Its cobblestone streets wind past brightly colored buildings, squares filled with musicians and dancers. One of the world’s biggest carnivals raves in February. Indulge in fantastic food, Moqueca and Caipirinha cocktails, samba, and capoeira in the pulsing epicenter of Afro-Brazilian culture.

February 11 to February 12, 2024 – Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
